Enjoy your holidays!

Good afternoon everyone!

It's time to say goodbye until next September.

I want to say thank you because most of you have worked a lot even when we never worked like this in class. I am really impressed and I really appreciate it.

I want to say thank you to your parents because they have helped you a lot to get all the activities done and emails sent. Thank you very much!
My recommendations for the summer are the following:

Don't do a summer revising activity book! You have worked enough this year.

If you want to practise your English:

Watch cartoons or tv shows in English with English subtitles. If you do this, try to start with something easy.
I know it is Peppa Pig and you are old for that, but you will understand everything in English and get used to it. I´m older than you and I watch it with my son, I love it!😉

Watch youtube videos in English. (asking your parents for permission, of course)

Listen to music in English. Watch videos with the lyrics.

Keep a diary and write how you feel or the things that you do in summer.

Do some exercise with The body coach:

I hope you have a wonderful summer holiday and I hope to see you in September!
Take care, please!

Final activity!

Good afternoon everyone!

I am receiving your sentences and we have some problems with exercise 4😰. Read the example/model and write similar sentences.

This week we are going to finish the worksheet so you have to do exercise 1 of the worksheet:
worksheet

You need to answer the questions about Albert and Alice. How do we do that?
If we talk about Albert:     Yes, he does.        No, he doesn't.
If we talk about Alice:       Yes, she does.      No, she doesn't.

Do your best!
See you here on Thursday!

Exercise 4

Good afternoon everyone!

I am receiving your sentences and most of them are right😊.

Today you have to do exercise 4 of the following worksheet:
worksheet

This is similar to exercise 2, but instead of saying what Albert/Alice and you like, you need to choose something that you don't like!

Example:

ALbert doesn't like cats and I don't like cats either.
Once you finish writing your sentences, check that you have written the highlighted words in red, yellow and orange right.

Listen to the example:

You are doing great guys!

Today we are going to keep working with Alice and Albert.
You have to do exercise 2 of the following worksheet:

As you see in the example, you have to choose something that Alice or Albert like, and say that you like it too.

Alice likes popcorn and I like popcorn too.

Try your best! Remember to write a capital letter at the beginning and a period at the end.
See you on Thursday!

Likes and Dislikes

Good afternoon everyone!

Today we are going to reflect on the activity you did on Monday.
You are going to write a sentence about Albert and one about Alice and you have to follow the example:

Albert likes soccer and French fries, but he doesn't like carrots or eggs.

Make sure that you write those highlighted words right, especially the comma before but and the word doesn't because many students get confused with it and write dasen't.

Once you write the two sentences, one about Albert and one about Alice, try to read them correctly. Here you can listen to my sentence so you can pay attention to the pronunciation:
Listen to the sentence

Don't copy my sentence, please!

Send a picture of your sentences when you finish them!

Try to do your best!
See you on Friday!
